Tyler always wants to attend live sporting events whenever he can. This past week we had some friends over for dinner and we were talking about it. My friend told me that her brother had just offered her 3 tickets to the Panther game and asked if Tyler and I wanted to go with her. I jumped on it and told Tyler that we were going. He was so excited.
Tonight was the night for the game. He was so excited and loved every minute of it. He is now a proud owner of a Panther paw that he proudly wore on his hand and cheered the Panthers on to victory tonight. 3-0 over the New York Rangers!
Go Panthers! We will be back to cheer you on this season! :o}
Thank you Stacey for inviting us!!!

Easter 2009
I had Eric upload the pictures from my camera card this past weekend last night and I just had a chance to go through them and was pleasantly surprised to find this picture. I am very rarely in a picture and decided to hand the camera over to Eric during this egg dyeing event Thursday night.
We were out of town for the weekend go kart racing and Tyler ended up winning Saturday night. On the drive home Sunday Tyler wasn't feeling very well and we had to make a few bathroom stops along the way. I am home with him today and he is finally starting to feel better.

One of those things...
Today just one of those things...happened! As soon as we got in the car this morning Tyler said, "I didn't have any breakfast!" I told him to run back into the house and get some donuts, which we keep in the fridge; otherwise those ants will find them. So in he goes and then back out into the car with the donuts in tow, 2 for him and 2 for his brother.
Then we got home and that is when we discovered one of those thing happened. This morning I got out chicken breast to thaw from the freezer. They just happened to be sitting in the fridge sideways so that when the door shut you had to give it a little extra push. Well Tyler didn't give it that little extra push it needed. All day long my fridge has been open just a little bit. Well that little bit is going to cost me some extra money. As I had to throw out eggs, milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, pudding, butter...
I am not mad at him, just sad to see all that food go into the trash that I just bought 2 days ago. Off to the grocery store I will go tonight to replace those products.
Tyler and I had a chat about how to always check to see if the door on the fridge is shut tight. It could happen to any of us. So lesson learned and hopefully always remembered to check the fridge door to make sure it is tight!

Day 3 Project 365
This evening I went with a friend as a guest to the gym that she belongs to. When I got home Eric had already put both of the kids to bed. They typically play with something quiet in their beds before it is time for lights out. Tonight I found both boys playing with some type of electronic game. I am just amazed with how different their lives are compared to my childhood. When I was a young girl I laid in bed most nights watching the numbers on my digital clock change. At one point I did have a Little Professor,
but most nights it was lights out and I laid in bed and watched those red numbers on my clock. Oh and I remember the occasional time that I would sneak my flash light in my room and read under the covers. How times have changed...just makes me wonder what my future grandchildren will be doing before they go to sleep.
I know this is more than one picture but I am hoping to be able to somehow reduce these pictures and put them side by side on a 4X6 photo to be included in the Project 365 kit that I am hoping to be able to purchase someday soon.

12 of 12
This is a little different then what some of you may be thinking from SS. This is not my December 12 of 12. I have such a hard time remembering to take my pictures for the 12 of 12 challenge. So I found a little inspiration from another blog and decided that I was going to take a trip down memory lane today and see what I came up with. The other blog that I got this idea from was to go to your 4th picture file and post the 4th picture in that folder.
Since today is 12/12. I went to my 12th folder and will post my 12th picture in that folder.
Here it is...
Tyler admiring all his eggs.
This is my oldest when we went to an Easter egg hunt, 4.6.07. It was spring break week and my friend had asked me to join her at a mom's group meet-up. I took my boys, my eggs and off we went. The boys had a great time finding all the eggs and putting them in their baskets.
The basket Tyler used was my basket when I was a little girl.
