I'm a WINNER!!!

So last week I was on Spring Break and was catching up on my blog reading and there really seemed to be so many blogs with giveaways and I entered many of them.  I actually wondered to myself will I will any of these?  Well it came true and today I saw that I was a winner!!!  Woohoo I am so excited and can't wait to receive my goodies.  I will post with pictures when it is received.  Here is the blog post announcing me being a winner.  Ohhh I am super excited!!!  Thank you Simply Designing!!!

March Full Moon

I have tried previous times to get a decent picture of a full moon with no avail.
Last night while we were at the go cart races we just happened to have the tripod with us. So when I saw the moon coming out of the trees I grabbed everything and set it up. I took many different shots and it was difficult to get a decent one because the lights from the race track were blaring. But the one above is the one that is the best that I was able to capture.
So pleased that I got it, just wish I had even more of a zoom to get more up close and personal. ;0)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We have a little bit of St. Patrick's Day decor in our home.

The bear was given to me by my friend from Northern Ireland when we were her host family for the summer of 1989.

Little bit of spring...

Saw this posted here and had to try out my own version.
Started with this little pot...loved the price.

Stuffed in some foam stuff.

Covered with moss.

Got these ready.

Then took them off their stem.

Started putting the flowers in...

with some hot glue. Note for next time hot glue quickly melts stryofoam.

Almost complete.

Put some more moss on bottom to cover up stryofoam.

Complete!

Every time I walk through my kitchen today I just smile when I look out at this. :0)

pantry orgnanization

Yesterday I tackled this much needed task of organizing my pantry. It has been a long time since it has been this bad. It was even to the point that things were just being laid on top of other things. I was going to the grocery store not knowing what was really need. I had 4 bottles of A1 Sauce. I mean seriously I don't need that many bottles stocked up. :-}

This will be a project that you will see again as I hope to get some glass containers and vinyl and really have fun in there. But for now I am happy and it is organized by category. Not sure what I am going to put on the floor in there but for now I like how it is empty. :-) In the red bowl at the top is the dog food and you can see the cat food doesn't have a container but I am working on that. Hopefully will find what I am looking for at the Goodwill soon.
