Do you enjoy brain teasers or do you find them frustrating?
I enjoy them, but only after I know the answer. :} When I cannot figure them out on my own I find them very frustrating!
Do you have any unusual collections?
Nope...I try not to collect things because I hate to dust.
What do people notice about you within the first hour of meeting you (other than appearance)?
My first thought was my eyes, but that deals with appearance. So I would have to say that people would think I am shy and quiet, but watch out when they get to know me and I am comfortable in the situation I am in.

Random Picture Challenge

This picture was taken, December 9, 2007. For Reed's 2nd birthday back in June of 2007 we decided to go to Walt Disney World. We ended up buying a 3 day park hopper and in June only used 2 of the 3 days on the park hopper. We had 6 months left to use it and had to use it before the middle of December. We were cutting it close.
This picture was taken while on the Safari ride at Animal Kingdom. I have no idea what type of animal it is. I am sure I could do some research or maybe one of my readers can help me out and tell me what type of animal it is.

Cell phone
Last Tuesday morning as I am getting ready for work I hear Reed yell from the bathroom, "Mama, I have your phone!" OK was my reply then I heard it drop...he was in the bathroom...
I go running in there and find my cell phone at the bottom of the toilet bowl...not a happy mama. I fish it out and tell Reed how sad I am. He put himself in time out in his room. :(
Off came the back cover...out came the battery...the phone is open...and it lays on a towel on my bed while I go off to work. Prayers being said that it will be just fine when it dries out.
Come home from work and but the battery and back on and it doesn't do anything...so it lays out to dry more.
Next morning it turns on...and rings that I have voice mail. I call the voice mail. I am trying to put it on speaker phone so I can listen to it while I finish getting ready for work. Speaker phone button is now the number 7 and the voice mails get deleted! ACK! I put it in my purse and try it again after work. Still working wonky. Finally Thursday I am able to dial out but the number 6 is working weird and is being stubborn. A little while later can't do anything with the phone.
So I went to Radio Shack Thursday afternoon to get a new phone but the girl wasn't really interested in helping me. So I left.
Friday I decided to stop at the Sprint store. Guy in there told me the cheapest phone he could get for me was $155. I told him thanks but no thanks and left.
Today mom and I took the boys and went to the mall. I saw another Radio Shack store and decided to see if they had anything better than the Sprint store. The sales lady in there was very helpful (unlike the other store I went to) and told me they had refurbished phones. She starts telling me the prices and they are all in the $200 price range and my heart is sinking. Then she gets to this pink phone and says it is $80. OK, that is the best price I have heard and it sounds good to me. As I am thinking the price is better I am thinking I am so not a pink person and this phone looks like a 13 or 14 year old should be carrying it. I understand that some people love pink and would jump at the chance to get this phone, but was wishing I had a different color choice. Nope!
So I am now the proud owner of a "Barbie" pink phone, as my lovely dh refers to it. It is growing on me and I am sure soon I will not want to part with it. It has a camera on it too, which I was very excited about!
Now to transfer all my numbers over...thank goodness it is spring break this week!

Manic Monday
Do you screen your phone calls?
Sure do!
When was the last time you lost your temper?
Oh probably this weekend when one of the boys did something to the other one. It is a daily occurence around here. Oh yea and Eric and I had a disagreement yesterday...stubborn!
When you're lost, do you ask for directions?
Sure do again! Unless of course I want to be lost which somedays may be nice.

Manic Monday

What would you do with an extra hour each day?
I would spend an extra hour at the beach with my family. I am 20 minutes away from the beach and don't go there like I should. My boys love it and it is a great place to just kick back relax and watch the waves roll on in.
I think we may have to go to the beach this weekend!
Do you wear a watch? If so, tell us about it. If not, how do you keep track of time?
I used to always wear a watch, but about a year ago the battery died and I haven't replaced it. I always have my cell phone with me so I just look at the time on it. While I am at work I will either look at the clock on the wall or the time on the computer since my cell phone is locked away with my purse in a file cabinet.
If it was possible, would you want to know how many days you had left to live?
No way! I like to live every day to its fullest!

FIRST picture of something other than your kids!
This was my first non-kid picture in my February 2009, folder. February 7th we took the kids to Volusia Speedway to see the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars. This shot was taken before racing began. We did not have pit passes so this was taken behind a chain link fence. I was in complete and utter shock of this picture because you cannot even see the chain link fence that was between the camera and pits. The boys had a fantastic night watching the sprint cars and late models.
